Dr. BAOU PhD Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% at the postgraduate level in a relevant
subject from a UGC/AICTE/DEB recognized university/institution. (For candidates belonging to
SC/ST/SEBC/PH categories, a minimum of 50% is required). The reservation rules for
Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) prescribed by the State Government will be applicable.
Dr. BAOU PhD Admission 2026 Selection Process:
It is mandatory to pass the entrance examination conducted by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open
University. Candidates who have passed NET/GSET/JRF (or M.Phil. candidates who have cleared
the entrance exam for admission) will be exempted from the entrance examination.
